Serengeti Vista Explorations was founded in 2019 by Fredrick Mbise and Abasi Amani John, both seasoned travel consultants with deep expertise in East Africa, covering Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. Before establishing the company, Fredrick had an extensive career as a professional wildlife safari guide and tour driver. His experience also includes roles as a Wildlife Ranger and Conservationist in some of Tanzania’s most iconic national parks, including Serengeti, Kilimanjaro, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Mikumi, and Mkomazi. Fredrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Tourism Management from the renowned College of African Wildlife Management (Mweka).
Serengeti Vista Explorations was born from Fredrick’s passion for wildlife and travel, starting as a bootstrapped venture with a single 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser, a secretary, and a mountain guide. The company quickly gained momentum due to its focus on providing personalized, authentic experiences in East Africa. After a successful first year, Serengeti Vista Explorations expanded its team by adding two full-time mountain guides and tour driver-guides, further enhancing the company’s ability to offer exceptional service and unforgettable adventures.
